Teixeira Told He Can Remove Wrist Brace

Doctors have told Mark Teixeira that he no longer has to wear a brace on his injured wrist except for when working out.
The New York Yankees placed Teixeira on the disabled list, retroactive to March 22, with a tendon issue in his right wrist.
He is hoping to return in early May, but there have been whispers that he could miss more time.
