Venters Has Injection, Shut Down For April

Jonny Venters will be shut down for a month after receiving a platelet-rich plasma injection in his sprained pitching elbow.
The right-hander was examined by Dr. James Andrews, who performed ligament-replacement surgery on the pitcher's elbow in 2005.
