The New York Yankees made history in their win over the Boston Red Sox on Thursday night.

It was the first time in Major League history that a 40-year-old pitched 8 innings and then handed the ball to another 40-year-old for the save.

It was the 17th time in MLB history a 40-year-old saved a game for another 40-year-old.
