Matt Harvey was in total control against the Minnesota Twins on Saturday afternoon.

The New York Mets right-hander didn't allow a hit until Justin Morneau hit a solo home run in the seventh inning.

Harvey allowed one run and two hits in eight innings with six strikeouts and two walks.

"You see all the great pitchers, when they need it, they can reach back and get it," manager Terry Collins said. "As that game went along, he knew what was going on. Don't let him tell you he didn't know what was going on."
