The Toronto Blue Jays have scratched Josh Johnson from Friday's scheduled start against the New York Yankees because of right triceps tightness.

Aaron Laffey will start in Johnson's place.

Johnson has struggled in four starts since coming to Toronto in an offseason trade with the Miami Marlins.
