Garcia To Remain In Baltimore Organization

Freddy Garcia has informed the Baltimore Orioles that he will remain with the organization through May 14.
The 36-year-old had a clause in his minor league contract that would have allowed him to opt out following his most recent start.
Garcia has been sharp through five starts for Triple-A Norfolk this season, pitching to a 2.67 ERA with 21 strikeouts against two walks through 33 2/3 innings.
