Headley To Receive Record Offer From Padres

The Padres are prepared to offer Chase Headley a multiyear deal that would make the third baseman the highest-paid player in franchise history, according to U-T San Diego.
Padres executive chairman Ron Fowler stated that the Padres will make the offer before the middle of this season.
