Beltran Might Have Future With Cardinals

Carlos Beltran is in the last year of a two-year, $26 million deal with the Cardinals, but that doesn't mean his tenure with the club is nearing an end.
Beltran is among of the team's best offensive players, even at age 36, but the situation is complicated by the future of prospect Oscar Taveras.
One key would be Beltran signing a short-term deal with St. Louis rather than searching for a longer deal.
