Brett Lawrie has landed on the disabled list with a sprained left ankle.
Lawrie suffered the injury while sliding into second base on Tuesday night during Toronto's game against the Braves.
He stayed in the game initially, but was visibly hobbled while advancing to third base later in the inning and had to be replaced by a pinch-runner.
