The Red Sox believe that Dustin Pedroia is "100 percent" recovered from the thumb injury he suffered on Opening Day.
Pedroia suffered a complete tear of the ulnar collateral ligament in his left thumb April 1 while making a head-first slide into first base.
Despite the injury, he has started all 53 games for the Red Sox this season, more than any player in the big leagues.
