The Red Sox have resisted a possible position change for prospect Xander Bogaerts.
The club really likes Bogaerts at shortstop, but they have a deep stable of players at the position in their system.
"What the Sox have decided is they will not mess with him while he's at Double A Portland, but once he gets to Triple A, they will start to move him around just to see if there's another position, whether it be in the outfield or at third, that would be a good fit," writes Nick Cafardo.
