Twins Place Pelfrey On Disabled List

The Twins have placed Mike Pelfrey on the disabled list with a strained back.
Pelfrey was scratched from a scheduled start on Sunday.
His back stiffened while running during batting practice Saturday.
Pelfrey is 3-6 with a 6.11 ERA this season.
