Manny Ramirez will remain in the minor leagues when the Rangers begin the second half of their season, according to sources.
Ramirez will be back with Triple-A Round Rock when the Express resume their Pacific Coast League schedule Thursday at home after a three-day All-Star break.
Ron Washington said Tuesday on his weekly radio show on ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM that there is no rush to bring Ramirez to the majors.
"We're just going to let it play itself out," Washington said. "The more at-bats he gets, the better."
