The Rangers remain in the mix to acquire Matt Garza from the Cubs, but nothing was settled as of late Thursday night.
The Cubs are believed to want to sell high on Garza, who is 5-0 with a 1.24 ERA over six starts.
The Indians, Diamondbacks, Red Sox and Dodgers have also been linked to the pitcher.
