A rival general manager was recently turned down when he inquired with the Milwaukee Brewers about the availability of Kyle Lohse.
It has been suggested that Milwaukee may hold onto Lohse at least through the winter.
The Brewers signed Lohse to a three-year, $33 million deal this past spring.
