The Kansas City Royals played Eric Hosmer in right field against the New York Mets on Saturday afternoon.
It marked the first time this season that the natural first baseman played in right.
"It shouldn't be that bad. I'm going to work with [coach Rusty Kuntz] right now. I didn't see who's in center field, but I'll be guarding the line and he's going to be covering the rest of the ground out there," Hosmer said.
Hosmer hadn't practiced his outfield work since Spring Training.
