Rodriguez Will Battle Yankees, Baseball In Appeal

Alex Rodriguez is expected to be suspended by Major League Baseball on Monday. He will appeal the suspension, which will force the New York Yankees to activate him for their game against the Chicago White Sox.
The appeal will head to arbitration, kicking off a battle with both the Yankees and the commissioner's office.
Rodriguez is expected to be suspended for this season and all of the next.
In its precedent-setting announcement Monday, MLB is expected to include damning evidence that Rodriguez violated its collectively bargained drug policy three times by juicing in 2010, 2011 and 2012, and that he obstructed the league's investigation into the source of those drugs.
