Brewers Place Weeks On DL, Recall Gennett From Triple-A

Rickie Weeks took a flight back to Milwaukee before the Brewers lost 4-1 to the Giants on Thursday. He was scheduled to get an MRI exam on his injured left hamstring, which landed him on the 15-day disabled list.
The team recalled Scooter Gennett from Triple-A Nashville in a corresponding move, according to an ESPN.com report.
