Dodgers May Not Go After Cano This Winter

The Los Angeles Dodgers may not be a player for Robinson Cano this winter.

The Dodgers tried to acquire Howie Kendrick from the Los Angeles Angels prior to last month's non-waiver trade deadline, according to sources. The move indicates that they aren't exclusively looking at Cano at second base.

Signing Clayton Kershaw to a contract extension and perhaps Hanley Ramirez as well, may rate as higher priorities than trying to chase Cano.

Please don't go after Cano Dodgers. I'd much rather have them re-sign Ellis to like a 2-yr deal and then either use someone in the farm system or acquire a younger player via free agency.
