The Tampa Bay Rays have claimed David DeJesus off waivers from the Washington Nationals.

DeJesus was traded by the Chicago Cubs to the Nationals for a player to be named later Monday, but was promptly put on revocable waivers.

Washington will receive a player or cash considerations in the deal.
