Forbes: Astros Aren't Most Profitable Franchise

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Aug 30, 2013 12:44 pm

After reporting earlier this week that the Houston Astros were on pace to become the most profitable franchise in Major League history this season, Forbes is changing their tune.

The previous article claimed the Astros were on pace to pull in an estimated $99 million in profits.

However, Houston's television revenue was wildly miscalculated.

The Astros will be profitable, but may not even be the most profitable this year.

This sounds much more closer to accuracy.

The Astros/Rockets/Comcast need to get the TV situation resolved. It is really reflecting poorly on them with how they are treating their fans.
