The Detroit Tigers are trying to determine Jhonny Peralta's future with the franchise once his Biogenesis-related suspension is over.
"We're really at the point where we need to step forward and start to move forward with those (decisions)," Dave Dombrowski said. "That's something we're discussing as the days go on right now."
Peralta is eligible to rejoin the Tigers for their final series of the regular season in Miami.
"He was very forthright, and I think he handled the situation as well as he possibly could," Dombrowski said. "It was a very difficult situation. He came forward and admitted that and decided to take the suspension."
