Phillies Warming To Idea Of Re-Signing Ruiz

Despite a slow start, Carlos Ruiz has surged at the plate in the second half of the season.
Ruiz will be a free agent this winter and the Philadelphia Phillies have warmed to the idea of re-signing him.
He might have multiple suitors as a cheaper option to fellow catchers Brian McCann and Jarrod Saltalamacchia.
Ruiz is hitting .291/.336/.478 with five home runs and 21 RBI since the All-Star break.
