Mets May Sign Free Agent To Play Shortstop

The New York Mets are open to signing a free agent to play shortstop next season, according to a front office source.
Ruben Tejada remains a candidate for the spot in 2014.
Stephen Drew and Yunel Escobar could be available on the open market.
