Mets Have Plans To Non-Tender Ike Davis

The New York Mets have no plans to non-tender Ike Davis this season, according to team sources.
It remains to be seen if Davis will be a member of the team in 2014.
Non-tendering Davis would make him a free agent without the Mets receiving any compensation in return. He is hitting .205/.326/.334 with nine home runs and 33 RBI this season.
