Red Sox Expected To Pick Up Lester's $13M Option

It appears to have become a certainty that the Boston Red Sox will pick up Jon Lester's $13 million option for next season.
It was reported on Monday night that the Red Sox had already agreed to pick up the left-hander's option, but a source said the move won't be made final until after the season.
