Yankees Place Jeter Back On DL

Yankees captain and shortstop Derek Jeter has been placed on the disabled list again, which will "effectively end his season," GM Brian Cashman said Wednesday.
Jeter has appeared in just 17 games this season, batting .190 with one home run and seven RBIs.
