The Philadelphia Phillies are still very much interested in Giancarlo Stanton, who the Miami Marlins have resisted trading up to this point.
"I've tried to trade for him at least 10 times," Ruben Amaro, Jr. said on Wednesday.
Amaro added that his most recent inquiry was "not all that long ago."
Stanton, who will turn 24 in November, has been mentioned in trade rumors ever since the Marlins shipped their high-priced talent out of town last winter.
