Red Sox Could Issue Saltamacchia Qualifying Offer

Jarrod Saltamacchia is having one of the the best seasons of his career, which could lead the Boston Red Sox to issue him a qualify offering this winter.
Saltamacchia's OPS ranks in the top 10 among all catchers. He is hitting .263/.334/.454 with 13 home runs and 15 RBI this season.
The Red Sox have higher priority free agents this offseason in Jacoby Ellsbury, Mike Napoli and Stephen Drew.
