Alfonso Soriano Sidelined With Sprained Thumb

The New York Yankees did not have Alfonso Soriano in the lineup on Saturday because of a sprained right thumb.
Since joining the Yankees in a July 26 trade from the Chicago Cubs, Soriano leads the Majors with 15 homers and 47 RBIs over that span.
