Rockies Want Weiss Back As Manager

The Colorado Rockies would like Walt Weiss to return in 2014 and the manager seems committed to next season.
The sides must negotiate a new contract, which is now considered a formality.
"It was up to him. We are trying to figure out a way where the contract is not an issue. He's done a good job. He's improved, he's been loyal," owner Dick Monfort said. "I have seen a lot of growth. I am pleased with him."
