Lance Berkman is dealing with knee, hip and back issues, but the veteran isn't ready to decide if he'll retire after the season.
"I had two surgeries on (the right knee) last year, and I really haven't gotten back close to 100 percent," Berkman said. "I've had four surgeries on that knee, and I have arthritis in it. I'm just old.
"I'm waiting to get to the offseason and see how it goes. I haven't really made any kind of announcement."
Berkman is a career .293 hitter with 366 home runs and 1,234 RBIs.
