Loria Re-Signed Dobbs Without Front Office Help

Gregg Dobbs, who would have qualified for free agency, was signed to a one-year, $1.7 million contract to remain with the Miami Marlins earlier this season.
According to a source, owner Jeffrey Loria negotiated the deal without top baseball officials Larry Beinfest or Mike Hill knowing. It's the latest in a long line of examples that Miami's front office is dysfunctional.
