Cabrera Wins Third Straight AL Batting Title

Miguel Cabrera has won the American League batting title for the third straight year.
Cabrera hit .348 for the Detroit Tigers. He sat out Sunday's regular-season finale.
He denied any disappointment about failing to win the Triple Crown for the second consecutive season.
"I still had a good season," Cabrera said. "I have the same numbers I had last year, and we won the division."
