Yankees Made 'Very Generous' Offer To Girardi

The New York Yankees made an offer to Joe Girardi last week and according to a source, the contract is believed to be worth $4-5 million per season.
Girardi recently completed a three-year, $9 million contract.
If accepted, Girardi would become the second-highest paid manager in baseball, behind only Mike Scioscia of the Angels, who signed a 10-year, $50 million contract in January 2009.
