Astros Hire Brent Strom As Pitching Coach

The Houston Astros have agreed to hire Brent Strom as their pitching coach, according to a source.
Strom had been working as minor league pitching instructor for the St. Louis Cardinals.
He replaces Doug Brocail, who last week was reassigned to become Houston's special assistant to general manager Jeff Luhnow and senior pitching advisor.
