Grant Balfour, who will be a free agent this winter, has indicated that he has no plans to retire.
"I don't care what no one says," the reliever said. "I'm not happy. I want to win a World Series. I'm not complacent. I'll keep playing til I find it."
Balfour, who will turn 36 in December, had a 2.59 ERA in 65 appearances for the Oakland Athletics this season.
