The San Francisco Giants will at least consider looking at Brian McCann when free agency opens.
The Giants are looking for a left-handed power bat and the market is thin this winter.
It may ultimately depend on how much playing time McCann demands, according to a source. He has a career .823 OPS.
The Texas Rangers, New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Angels and Chicago Cubs have also been linked to McCann.
