Ortiz Has Highest OPS In World Series History

David Ortiz has been red-hot in the World Series.


He is 11-for-15 (.733) against the St. Louis Cardinals with two homers, six RBIs and four walks this month.


Ortiz has a history of success in the Fall Classic.


Among players with a minimum of 40 at-bats, he has the highest OPS (1.370) in World Series history. He is followed by Lou Gehrig (1.214), Babe Ruth (1.214) and Reggie Jackson (1.212).
