Tigers Pass On Offers For Benoit, Infante, Peralta

The Detroit Tigers decided against issuing qualifying offers to Joaquin Benoit, Omar Infante and Jhonny Peralta.
Detroit is interested in re-signing Benoit as their closer, but there are many other options on the open market.
Peralta isn't expected to return. The Tigers acquired Jose Iglesias to play shortstop in a midseason deal with the Chicago White Sox and Boston Red Sox.
The Tigers haven't indicated much on the future of Infante.
