Rick Renteria To Receive Three-Year Deal From Cubs

The Chicago Cubs have signed Rick Renteria to a three-year contract that includes two option years, according to a high-ranking team official.
They will introduce him as manager on Thursday.
Renteria, 51, formerly the bench coach for the San Diego Padres, has been lauded throughout the game for his player development and leadership skills.
