Cardinals Close To Deal With Jhonny Peralta

Free agent Jhonny Peralta is closing in on a multiyear deal with the Cardinals, two sources told ESPN.com.
Peralta, 31, is a two-time All-Star and .268 career hitter with 156 home runs in 11 seasons with the Indians and Tigers.
