Yankees Pushing For Meeting With Cano

The New York Yankees are pushing for a meeting with Robinson Cano.


They want to figure out whether or not there are negotiations to be had with the free agent.


The Yankees have long been expected to re-sign Cano, but word is that a $150 million gap still exists between the two sides. Cano is seeking $310 million over 10 years, while New York has offered a seven-year, $160 million deal.

even 7 years for 160-170million is over paying for him!!! he doesn't hit 35-40 home runs a year .. he doesnt average 120 rbi's … those contracts are for true superstar status people… Old A-Rod.. Old Pujols -- The old Feilder .. Not a guy like Cano who is almost done in his prime … He's a 17 - 20 million a year type of player
