Brian Wilson decided to stop exploring a contract with the New York Yankees when it became clear that he would not be willing to shave his trademark beard.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are moving closer to a deal with Wilson.
Wilson went 2-1 with a 0.66 ERA as a setup man last season with the Dodgers.
