Orioles Bid On Nelson Cruz, Grant Balfour

The Baltimore Orioles have offered contracts to free agents Nelson Cruz and Grant Balfour.
Cruz is believed to have been offered a four-year deal worth approximately $60 million, in the range of the contract Curtis Granderson received from the New York Mets.
A two- or three-year deal is possible for Balfour.
