The Cleveland Indians have agreed to a one-year deal with David Adams.
The 26-year-old split the 2013 season between the New York Yankees and one of their minor league affiliates.
Adams became a free agent on Dec. 2 when he wasn't offer a 2014 contract by the Yankees.
