Angels Believe They Can Sign Ibanez, Garza Without Surpassing Tax Line

The Los Angeles Angels are interested in signing Raul Ibanez to be their designated hitter.
In 327 plate appearances at Angel Stadium, Ibanez has a slash line of .349/.407/.522.
Los Angeles believes they can sign Ibanez and Matt Garza while barely remaining under the $189 million luxury-tax threshold.
The Angels saved $4 million when they traded Mark Trumbo.
