The New York Mets have signed John Lannan, but that doesn't mean they are done searching for more rotation options.
"Lannan does not necessarily preclude us from signing another starter," assistant general manager John Ricco said.
Lannan and Jenrry Mejia appear to be the primary competitors for the final rotation spot behind Bartolo Colon, Jonathon Niese, Zack Wheeler and Dillon Gee.
