Agent: Russell Wilson Plans To Attend Spring Training With Rangers

Despite winning the Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night, Russell Wilson still plans to report to Spring Training with the Texas Rangers, according to the quarterback's agent.

Wilson, a second baseman, was twice drafted by Major League teams before the Rangers acquired him in the Rule 5 draft this offseason.

acquired Wilson from the Rockies in December as part of the Triple-A phase of the MLB Rule 5 draft.

Russell Wilson should go rest and prepare for next season with the Seahawks. He's a bright, smart, young, one hell of a QB. No need for these baseball stuff. Seahawks are one of the youngest teams in the NFL and have a chance to be one of those dynasty teams. Plus, I have a lot of 49ers friends and co-workers. I need the Seahawks to beat them so I can continue to rub it in LOL!
