The Oakland Athletics have rejected a 10-year lease extension to remain at the Coliseum.
The A's claim the offer doesn't meet all of their requirements.
Team spokesman Bob Rose released a statement that the 10-year deal "did not address all of our issues" and asked that future lease negotiations not be played out in public.
The A's lease expires after the 2015 season and have been searching for a new home for five years. The A's could build a new stadium in San Jose, but the San Francisco Giants have been blocking the move.
